Admissions to InnerVisions Recovery Society

Treatment Eligibility Requirements:

• Over 19 years of age

• Alcohol and/or drug abuse as a primary diagnosis

• Approval by our doctor with respect to substance withdrawal (detoxification) and medications

• Mental and physical ability to function in a therapeutic residential group treatment program

• Fluent in the English language or accessible translation services

To become a client in any of our treatment centres a person must need our services, want our services, ask to join us, commit to our program, and be prepared to be held to that commitment.

Pending Court Appearances

Generally we do not accept into residence people with pending court appearances. Our staff will help you to arrange a deferral if necessary.

Psychological and Physical Disability

Clients must be ambulatory, able to manage stairs and move about on their own. InnerVisions is not designed for wheelchair use. Those accepted into InnerVisions must be psychologically and physically capable within normative margins.

Wait Times

Wait times vary from a few days to a few weeks.

Intake Policy

Intake takes place from 8:00am until 3:00pm. If you have been given an intake time and do not show up during these hours you will not be allowed to access the facility until the next day and, under staff discretion, might lose the bed space. It is very important that the person seeking treatment understands this policy.

Out Of Town Client Intakes

We can accommodate out of town clients with flexible intake times if necessary. However, we encourage that intake be done during business hours if at all possible.

Fees

InnerVisions Recovery Society’s rate for residential treatment is $200.00 CDN per day. Payments may be discussed with InnerVisions management. Fraser Health and government beds may be available for those who qualify.

Refund Policy

In the event a client chooses to, or is required to leave the program prior to completion, there will be a two-week penalty imposed. All refund discussions are between the client and InnerVisions. Although we understand sometimes family members may provide funding for a relative in treatment, the client’s contract is between him or her and InnerVisions Recovery Society.
